DAD – ‘D’edicated, ‘A’wesome and ‘D’etermined

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Dads are great. They do all the things and live their lives for their children. I dedicate this story to my dad. I bow my head to all the dads in this entire world.

There was a person named Timothy. He is facing a tough time during the world pandemic.

He has a son named Raphael who was studying in class 10. Raphael was excellent in his studies. But during the days of the pandemic, he was struggling a lot to attend his online classes because of his incapable mobile which was not supporting to download and do his assignment etc., the sound clarity was not enough to understand his class as well, but he knew very well that his dad was already struggling financially to make up their household expenses. So, he didn’t share his trouble with his dad. But his performance in his class started declining.

In his school, they called for parents teacher meeting and his class teacher, Tina was worried about his performance and she shared this to Timothy that his son was unable to respond in his class regularly as his mobile was always getting trouble and he was getting disconnected during classes.

Timothy soon became worried and asked about this to his son. But he replied quietly, “No problem dad, I am ok with this mobile. You please don’t worry and I promise you that I will score good marks in my final term”. Because he knew well that it is really difficult for his dad to buy a new mobile in this situation.

But Timothy started to think to buy a new mobile for his son at any cost. It was Father’s Day so he stood in front of his father photo, who was died few years ago because of illness. And something sparked in his mind and rushed out

And finally, he bought a new mobile to home and gave it to his son, Raphael felt so elated after seeing his new mobile and tears of joy ran from his eyes and he thanked his dad and said “Happy Father’s Day,dad, I love you dad”.

Raphael asked his father “Dad, How did you manage to buy this? ” But his father smiled and said “All the best my dear son and do well in your exams” And Timothy left from there.

Again Timothy was standing in front of his father’s picture, tears running from his eyes, and he said ” Dad, Happy fathers day!”,he said with a trembling voice. And then he continued, “I don’t have any other option to buy that mobile.

So, I sold my most favorite bracelet, which you have presented me on a fathers day, dad, and I know that well you won’t get angry on me for this and still you helped me to do my responsibility of a father well. Thank you so much dad and I miss you.”

He went to his son’s study room and he looked at his son silently, Raphael was happily doing his assignment works in his new mobile. Timothy let out a sigh of relief and smiled.
